Susan has lived in St James since 2008 but bought her first property here in 1999. She has bought, sold and built here and is thrilled to call St James “home.” Originally from western Pennsylvania, she gave up the snow and ice to come live in paradise! She has a well- rounded background in healthcare, education, management, and sales. Susan is very knowledgeable about the history of St James, having seen much growth and change over the years.
In addition to being a Broker/Realtor©, she and her husband enjoy boating, golf, croquet, the beach and she loves to cook! She is active in the community including the Service Club, Southport Sailing and Boat Club, and the Croquet Club along with being a volunteer at the community library. She has been certified as an SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) helping property owners who are needing assistance in transitioning to the next chapter of their life, whether it be to “age in place” to assisted living and beyond. She is also a PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor), trained to give a realistic value of your property based on market trends. Compassionate and caring, Susan goes the extra mile to be sure her customers are comfortable and knowledgeable about every step of the process – whether it’s buying or selling. Sue Leach is a very efficient and personable person who helped us get our home ready to sell. She was well prepared on our first meeting to show us all the forms and what and how we were going to use them. Sue was always open to discussion when we had questions. We took her advice on a number of issues - like 2-10 coverage, video and staging. Having listed during Christmas holidays, she kept encouraging us to be patient that our home would sell soon. And it Did!! We were always notified within time frames of upcoming showings. After every showing Sue would tell us what comments were made. Sue is a great communicator and positive person.
