Our First Club
The very first club created at St. James, Founders Club, is an unmistakable, grand clubhouse that sits among meandering Carolina marshes and legendary fairways.
Known as Tennis Central, Founders Club is the heart of tennis at St. James. With viewing decks, six courts and a full offering of lessons, matches and tournaments, it is a tennis lover’s paradise.
Founders Club Signature Hole #17
From the back tees, it appears as though there is no place dry to hit the ball. Stay left of the marsh and it opens up with a good line to the green. The green slopes back to front and also away from the fairway, making it a very difficult approach with little to no room for error.
