Woodlands Park
Woodlands Park is St. James’ Natural Wonderland.
Features an outdoor Amphitheater overlooking a peaceful lake that’s encircled by biking and walking trails. Every day residents ride bikes or walk their four-legged friends around the Woodlands Loop. You can also grab your fishing rod and hook a few — the lake is stocked with a variety of fish. The picnic pavilion is perfect for family gatherings and the grassy lawn is great for Frisbee, flag football or launching a kite. Restrooms and parking make it even easier to make a day of it.

Waterway Park
Waterway Park is full of Natural Salt Marshes that are bordered by the Intracoastal Waterway. It is fabulous for getting together with friends or reserving the spacious shelter for a family wedding or reunion. This park is the ideal spot for enjoying the great outdoors, bird watching, walking, biking, fishing, or kayaking. The facility offers a covered pavilion with picnic tables, lighting, electrical outlets, overhead fans, and brick grills. Restrooms are available seasonally.
